a little about me

I love people.

No, actually. My favorite part of living is getting to know people. I grew up in a military family, so I was forced to become an expert in finding my group, constantly make new friends, and, most importantly, staying connected to those in my past. I learned pretty quickly that people are so fascinatingly different across locations and niches. I also learned that the more that I experience, the more I forget all the special in between moments that make us who we are.

I started recording EVERYTHING. I took videos and pictures. I held on to wristbands and ticket stubs. I made vacation videos, posters, and even playlists to remember specific events. In this desperate need to try and remember everything, I noticed the people around me really appreciated this documentation as much as I did.

I decided to do this wedding thing full time.

I shot my first wedding with my now mentor and friend Joanna from Four Loves Photo and Film in December of 2021 when I was still in college. I fell in love with the fast pace and abundance of joy present on wedding days. I figured out that being myself behind the camera really encouraged couples and guests to be themselves in front of it. Maintaining emotion and genuine moments as a photographer has become a challenge that I love to take on!

I’ve loved combining my backgrounds in fine art and communication to provide an energetic and purposeful eye when capturing those in between moments during a wedding day.

I love my family.

We’ve been spread across a few states for awhile now, but we always find the time to come together for Mardi Gras, Christmas, and a beach vacation!
Disney World is my Place!

I’m an unashamed Disney adult. I love the food, the music, and of course riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind as much as possible.
I haven't always shot weddings.

I have a background in marketing and advertising for UF’s recreation department. Working onsite is my favorite!
I'll always pose for test shots.

Photogs and filmmakers know that lighting is everything… so I’m always ready to pose for that flash.
I have a design degree.

I earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Florida. I miss the studio and my design friends, but I love using what I learned about composition and form when shooting!
